Civil Service Declaration of Purpose:
Per RCW 41.14.010 "The general purpose of this chapter is to establish a merit system of employment for County deputy sheriffs and other employees of the office of County Sheriff, thereby raising the standards and efficiency of such offices and law enforcement in general."

CORRECTIONS OFFICER AND TELECOMMUNICATOR APPLICANT MINIMUM AGE REQUIREMENT HAS BEEN CHANGED.
THE MINIMUM AGE REQUIREMENT FOR THESE APPLICANTS IS NOW 18 YEARS OF AGE.


Pacific County Civil Service offers examinations for employment opportunities

Tips for completing the application packet:
* Lateral applicants do not have to complete the physician's statement
* Telecommunicators do not have to complete the physician's statement
* You must supply proof of your typing test showing your total words per minute
*Any blanks are considered incomplete

Pacific County Civil Service adopted Rule 8.04 Open Ended Recruitment
that allows us to accept applications for positions that do not have an examination established.
When you apply, your application will be kept on file for up to one year. During that year if the position you apply for holds an examination, you will be invited to participate!
