911 Communications


Pacific County Communications is a division of the Pacific County Sheriff's Office and is responsible for providing and maintaining the Pacific County Communications Center that serves as the primary answering point for all 911 calls placed in Pacific County. 

The first priority of Pacific County Communications is to receive 911 calls and dispatch the appropriate law, fire, and medical services.  Pacific County Communications also handles non-emergency public safety requests for service.

ADMINISTRATION BOARD


The Pacific County Communications Administration Board is responsible to review and/or change the funding formula as necessary to assure fair and equitable funding of services,  develop and approve preliminary and final budgets to recommend for incorporation into the County budget, develop Non-Member Agency rate recommendations for the Board of County Commissioners’ approval, act in an advisory capacity to the Board of County Commissioners with regard to all issues impacting PACCOM and Members’ budgets, and oversee the Operations Board and resolve issues which the Operations Board is unable to reach agreement upon.
 
Any action by the Administration Board requires a meeting conforming to the “Open Meetings” Act and with at least five members present and a majority vote of those present.  Meetings are scheduled on an as needed basis with a schedule and meeting agenda posted approximately 4 weeks in advance on this website.
